Artwork

Mason stumbled upon doing artwork by mistake. I was learning how the 60’s and 70’s psychedelic light shows started in San Francisco and was intrigued. I wanted to recreate this, and it turns out that not many people know how to do this. So I started my homework. Projecting color inks and oils from an overhead projector on to a screen to create wild looks and motion.

This was the start of light shows for music. It’s a lost art. Today we have many intelligent moving lighting fixtures and lots of computer controls to create these shows. I wanted to do it the “old School “ way. I loved it so much that I left the oils and ink dry up on the glass treys and it still looked really cool days after. I then started playing with the inks and some other secret ingredients and used LED backlighting to illuminate them and the rest is history. I also paint on plexy-glass to help cutdown on weight and it not near as fragile as glass plus it can bend and curve to adhere to curved surfaces. Sizes range from small to very large pieces to fill a large foyer or corporate reception area. Mason has sold and commissioned his work for residential clients to corporate spaces and yachts. Let me create an art piece for you.
